me and my brother both got concert tickets to go see black sabbath: he wanted to go, but isn't old enough so I my gift is to be his chaperone. I also got a coffee press, presumably because I told my mother she should get one as a replacement for her busted filter machine. I suspect both of us assumes I will forget to take it with me once I go back home.

For one, if that Christmas card really is Andrew, best Christmas ever.

Two, my mom gave us so much shit, to the point where I felt bad. They don't have a lot of money, but they always gave us kids awesome, useful gifts that we loved mixed with shit we wanted, and she's carrying that on now even though I'm an adult. And after we were sitting around basking in the rays of our loot, she remembered to give us a card with $100 in it. Luckily I had been stockpiling shit for her since October, and it was all shit I knew she wanted so she was happy.

Still have to open stuff with babydaddy and then go to my inlaws and then friends' house to exchange more shit.
