I played through the first one a little ways in- traded it in. Heard the second one included a cleaned up version of the original game so I picked it up again. The graphics seem cleaner, framerate seems better, and the game does a better job explaining the systems. Why does this game interest me? It reminds me of the first .Hack series. A game built on the mechanics of an MMO- and in some ways capable for providing team-based multiplayer similar to that of an MMO. That's neat.
The second .Hack series, while really good, took things into a different direction. The world/UI still seemed like an MMO- but the game itself was its own thing.
Anyway- anyone have tips on the best skill tree pairs? Right now early on im having people focus on a tree related to their primary weapon, but I know that other skill trees have some cool passive stat bonuses. Also i wish the rest of my team would back the fuck off when im in power ranger form cause they keep getting hit by AoE's when I run out of interrupts.
