Game is very very pretty,it looks like a movie.Production values are insane.

Tons of options, changeable in real-time.

Thank you to the guy who taught me the Jake running attack, OMG!! You can lock on from like half a room away then let go, Jake goes into full running animation where you can flip in any direction to dodge attacks, when he reaches the enemy he does his super palm attack. But from there you can continue to combo and he has like 5 other moves.

The best part though is how he manages crowd control. When you do that he automatically attacks all enemies around him. In the spot where the three enemies drop from the ceiling I charged at one, hit him, did a spin around in the air punch at the other guy, spun and uppercut the third guy, did a roundhouse sweep of the first guy on the floor and did a falling down punch on the second guy. AMAZING!!

Oh and one time I had an enemy run at me while I was charging up the palm attack but he got too close to soon so I let go of the charge before it was finished and so Jake instead did a small right hook but it took off the dudes head! So picture an enemy running at me and I quickly do a punch that blows up his head.

I am now doing melee exclusive runs with Jake, it turns the game into a sort of God Hand. The boss is so much fun to melee and dodge. You have to start paying attention to the fatigue bar as that goes down quick, I hope that is upgrade-able.

Tried it,it works.Jake is unstoppable :bow2

In addition the three normal campaigns, after you beat the game there's a fourth solo campaign as Ada Wong and a counter-ops mode.  You play as the zombies in counter-ops to join other players' games and mess with them.

I wish I liked the demo more because all this stuff sounds cool.

From Andriasang:

Resident Evil 6 will let players experience survival horror from a different perspective. Detailed in Famitsu this week, the game has a new "Agent Hunt" mode which lets you play as a creature out to attack the main characters.

Different from the series' Mercenaries mode, Agent Hunt is integrated into the main game. Once you've cleared the game, you'll be able to set an option to open some stages to Agent Hunt play. This will allow other players to play as the creatures in certain stages. When another player has entered the stage as a creature, you'll be alerted, although you won't be told which creature is human controlled.

Multiple creatures can team up to attack a single player, using voice chat to communicate and strategize.

Confirming teases from last month's Comic-Con event, Famitsu reveals this week that Ada Wong will appear in Resident Evil 6 as a playable character. Ada will have a full story, but you won't be able to select her until after you've cleared the scenarios for the other three characters.

In an interview with Famitsu, executive producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, director Eiichiro Sasaki and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi shared a few details about Ada's component.

Ada's story will clear up the mysteries from the other scenarios, said Kobayashi. Her scenario is played solo, without a partner character. When playing as Leon and the other main characters, you may end up encountering other players who are controlling Ada.

Ada can change the functionality of her crossbow, switching it to launch projectile bombs for instance.

This is the same Famitsu feature that revealed the game's Agent Hunt mode, where you take control of a creature and enter other players' games via online play. Your goal is to defeat the player-controlled agents.

You'll have to remember that you're playing as a creature, and not one of the RE heroes/agents. If it's you against one of the agents, the agent has the advantage. You'll need to be strategic, making clever use of the AI-controlled enemies, and also communicating with other human-controlled creatures. These creature to creature chat sessions can not be heard by the agent players.

Agent Hunt mode will have exclusive leader boards. If you don't want other players invading your game, you can turn the mode off.

Hype?

I thought it was Capcom going back to single player goodness, but now I read about the "Lone Wolf" SKILL which will take one of the 3 slots available to you and make your AI partner do nothing.

Am I geting this right, you have to use one of your 3 skill slots (as far as I understand it) to have your partner do nothing?

I though they decided after RE5 that this coop shit is bs for RE.

No, there's a single player mode and a co-op mode. The main campaign has no co-op.

One of the multiplayer modes can also be integrated into the campaign mode- in certain levels, enemies will control the AI.  Kinda cool.

Not too worried about the AI partner after RE Revelations on 3DS- they fixed the partner system and hopefully that carries over to RE6.

I always enjoy these games, so I'm looking forward to RE6.
