« on: January 23, 2012, 07:45:12 AM »
sooooooooo the team that made warioware and rhythm heaven and sakamoto (i guess as a punishment for releasing other m) have released a new game called kiki tricks, and from the video's around the internet it looks totaly hilarious

and the best one!

apparently half of the game are sound based minigame and the other half is understanding a guy speaking muffled japanese,so i guess only the bebpo's of the forum will be able to play this :(

It's not hard to be Wii 2012 GOTY when your only competition is Ubitsoft's Imagine games.

I keed. I keed.  :D Not really  :P

Welp that's certainly not coming overseas without some alteration.

Let's be real here, this is never coming overseas anyway.

Nah.  This team has made some really stellar and fresh games:

Wario-Ware (GBA) - fuck awesome
Wario-Ware Twisted (GBA) - JESUS HOW CAN YOU MAKE A BETTER GAME THAN THIS?!
Wario-Ware DS - kind of sucked
Wario-Ware Wii - Yeah, formula is old by now, time to move on
Rhythm Tengoku (GBA) - YES, THIS IS WHY YOU MOVE ON TO NEW FRANCHISE; SO GOOD
Rhythm Tengoku DS - kind of sucked
Rhythm Tengoku Wii - Yeah, formula is old by now, time to move on

So going by history, the first entry in their new series should be fantastic.  Definitely a reason to be excited.

Will try.

Warioware GBA has always kinda sucked. 75% of the game is hitting the A button when point x lines up with point y.  Twisted and Smooth Moves felt far more varied and replayable.  Touched was just too easy in the end.  I'm still eagerly awaiting the acknowledgement the series will continue at some point.

Oh yeah, I give it mad props for essentially being one of the handful of NEW GENRES made in the last ten years, but its really hard to go back to the first one.

Btw, did DIY bomb or what?  I'm surprised there's no 3ds Warioware announced.

From what I could tell from the first 2 mins, you hear a cue and have to click which show it's coming from.  So when you hear "NICE SHOT" you click on the golf show.  When you hear "IT'S A BOY" you click on the female giving birth, etc...
