I really love me some Dissidia. 80+ hours on the original, 40-50 on the sequel.

However, I think the arena mode of the original trumps the dungeon mode of the second. It was much easier to get what you wanted from the arenas- not so much with the dungeons- if anything I think the dungeon mode thing is a bit over-engineered.

Also, some characters are harder than others to use, and in the story modes you're required to use pretty much each one for a time. The cool thing is once you have the arena (original) or dungeon (duodecim) unlocked you can focus on one character and get REALLY good. The AI is pretty merciless at higher levels but if youre using someone youre comfortable with and have outfitted how you like omg you can be awesome too.
