It's the bane of my nerdy existence.

I always go through the extra step of tracking down context menu settings of every installed app.

If something feels important enough to not give any control, it gets uninstalled.

Where is my Day of the Tentacle remake? Monkey Island 2 remake was perfect.

I like the Ribbon, but now that it's in Explorer I wish they'd just allow for "tabs" that are just buttons or menus so that contextual stuff like "Archive Tools->Extract" that only have one or two options can be a bit more convenient and less ridiculous (and not a regression from the old contextual toolbar, which I didn't even realize was ever useful until I no longer had it). There is already the "icon/File" menu/tab in the Windows style ribbon, so it wouldn't even reduce consistency that much really.

However, when there get to be tons of options a ribbon >> a longass menu (or god forbid multilevel cascading menus)

Ribbon is great but there's a fuckload of stuff I use that's hidden or less accessible. I'm pretty sure I'm not meant to have so many quick access buttons
