Didn't we already learn from Shadowrun that there's no financial point to reviving 90's franchises just to make an mediocre FPS? Just let it stand on it's own, like Mindjack or Quantum Theory, that way when it bombs everyone forgets about it in two weeks and it saves you a lot of embarrassment.

I think it looks fun.  At least co-op is quality, judging from 360 demo.  It'll be dead in no time, but it feels like a well realized co-op game like Left 4 Dead, and not Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.  Not to say ME3 multiplayer is bad, just that it's safest possible way to include multiplayer.

Not buying it now because I still haven't played Crysis 2 (which I own) and Bulletstorm (which I own) and other 2011 shooters (a couple that I own) I'll get too first.

It's a fun rental. I like making enemies suicide and blow up everyone around them.

Just finished the singleplayer. Game is fuckin' great. The combat is soooo much fun. Everything about it feels right. Shooting has weight and impact to every shot and the sound is nice and loud. Great lengths have been traveled by Starbreeze to make moving around as natural as possible. Little touches like the way your gun reacts to moving up on cover and the natural cover system works great. None of that sticky glue stuff you see anywhere else. I love running at cover and sliding into it then immediately popping out while in DART mode to take out dudes. It all feels so good.

Then you got all the powers which all are great as well. They're balanced so they all are worth using (though I used persuade more than the others). The simple hacking system is perfect for a game like this. It's simple but they let you perform it on so many things in the game word. It's always cool when they have a turret in front of you and you can just press a button and bam, it's now on your side. Also being able to hack grenades? Godamn genius. There's also boss battles which are all really fun and mix things up pretty well. They all implement your various abilities and require a little more than just SHOOT DUDE. The first one is the best because the song from the trailer plays during it. It's a really awesome moment.

This is one of those FPS games that it's terribly long (only like 5-6 hours long) but it actually does feel like the perfect length. It dense with really cool highs and now many lows. It doesnt overstay it's welcome and ends on a satisfying note. I was surprised to find out that the storytelling (simple as it is) was pretty good as well. The game tells its story at a brisk pace and doesnt try to jam it down your throat too much.

I really liked this game. It's the perfect length for what it is. The FPS gameplay is the best I've experienced in a long time, and it's just a damn cool experience. Legit surprise here on this one. Maybe I'll even pick it up when it's a little cheaper to try out the multiplayer.

I agree completely with fistful. This game is a lot of fun. I rented it but I'll buy it when it hits $20 and go back and try some things different.
