2012 - the year of the RPGs

This year we have:

  • Final Fantasy XIII-2
  • Tales of the Abyss 3DS
  • Mass Effect 3
  • that Curt Schilling game whose name I forgot
  • Borderlands 2
  • Tales of Graces F
  • Xenoblade US
  • Last Story US
  • Kingdom hearts 3DS
  • Ni No Kuni
  • Paper Mario 3DS
  • Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
  • Devil Survivor 2
  • Growlanser IV
  • Gungnir
  • Ys IV Vita
  • Atelier Meruru
  • Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2
  • Witcher 2 360 / Witcher 2 EE PC
  • Risen 2

and hopefully news on Versus, and US confirmations for Trails in the Sky SC, and Tales of Xillia. And news that X-SEED has been added to the Steam registry, which means we may see some translations of Falcom's PC titles!

What games are crap in that list? Aside from Neptunia of course :P So far the only ones I've played are Abyss (the original not the 3DS one) and FFXIII-2, and both are great.

Demi: Added Witcher 2 360 and Risen 2 (though I never heard of this one).

I'm surprised at how little I want on that list - Devil Survivor 2,  Paper Mario, Ys IV (but it doesn't matter because I'm not buying a Vita yet) and I guess I'll play Witcher 2 again once the EE patch is out.

P5 maybe in Japan, and that's a big maybe. I'd say 2013 is much more likely.
