Why aren't you feggits driving cars and using up GAS? Ever heard of FUEL, numb nuts?

Why in my day, we'd move across the country ALL THE TIME. You didn't know you could move to North Dakota and find yourself a MINING JOB for a measly 200 dollars by hitching a Greyhound bus? LAZY

And what's with the use of the word random?!

Your generation are nothing but lazy, slobby numb nuts who have no vision or passion. We had the peace corps, the greatest generation had WWII! Occupy movement? I SPIT ON YOUR OCCUPY MOVEMENT.

Your generation are nothing but LAZY HACKS.

And if the government re-institutes a draft, just flee to Canada like our forefathers would have done.

I was offered a position of moving up to North Dakota for a job in my company.  We were seriously considering it because the pay is outrageously good and we wouldn't have to fight for a decent home like most people do up there (my company provides houses to employees for cheap).  But after looking at pictures of the town and reading about surrounding towns and then reading about the insane winters we decided against it.

Hey, we could also destroy all of Europe and Asia again to give ourselves an effective monopoly on all sorts of industries!

Also, have we settled on who is Generation Y or Z and who are the Millennials or any of that stupidity yet?

I'll maybe listen to one-off NYT columnists then.

Meanwhile, I'll stick to David Brooks and George Will for my fashion tips.

You might want to reconsider, I heard Grand Forks has a new Olive Garden.

Dude, YOU'D probably have great pay but what about Diana? The only careers there that is getting good pay are specific industries.

As long as you live in Minot, Dickinson, Bismark, Devil's Lake, Grand Forks, Jamestown, or Fargo, you're okay. Everywhere else is a Taco Bell-less wasteland.

Basically the only cities most people in ND go to are Minot and Bismark, those other places are weird. iirc Jamestown has a giant institution for the crazies. I lived 60+miles out of Minot, 30 miles out of Garrison, 15 miles ish out of Ryder. Went to school in Garrison, and guess what- they dont have a Taco Bell....least they didnt.

I will say that I miss the Truck Stops. Most towns have at least one, and the ones outside of major cities are just badass. Best horrible for you farm food around.

I refuse to believe that ND is actually a state or exists.  Nice try in your attempt to fool me, pawns of the Illuminati.

Better to be jobless in Nevada than employed in North Dakota.

:lol  Yep, I would have lived in a man camp.

Depends on the city.  In Williston (which is where I would have gone) there is a general boom and labor shortage.  Any professional job is usually making a killing.  She'd be fine.  And from what they offered even if she didn't work we'd be making more money on just my income than both of ours combined currently.

I make six figures at a job in Iowa.  Nothing on either coast offers anything close to what I'm making now for my degree and experience (I've looked), especially if you factor in dramatically higher costs of living.

I guess I'll be staying put.

Isn't North Dakota the coldest state in the country?

I'm pretty sure I've read sociology reports where they use climate as a variable, and there's some soft rule about it getting warmer the further you are from North Dakota.

I was going to reply to this in a serious manner, then I caught myself.  YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, BAVARIAN ILLUMINATI!  I KNOW ND ISN'T REAL!
