my mistake.  I didn't even know about this until I posted it, let alone a thread here.

I didn't even consider a Steam release.  The games are on GoG, and are under EA now (?), and I'm not too sure about the whole Steam vs Origin thing.  BG1&2 on Steam with achievements and cloud saving could be great.

It's Baldur's Gate Enhance Edition from Beamdog or something.

Beamdog did MDK2 HD for PC and for the Wii I think.  It doesn't mention anything else.

Sounds like it will still be Infinity Engine, which is odd...but BG2 remake of any kind is good news. Count me in for whatever!
