Yes, the rest of the movie is like that. It's so, so bad. Halle Berry gets my respect for showing up to the Razzie Awards and accepting her Razzie in person, and cursing her agent.

Still no word why she accepted the role in Swordfish, though.

At least Swordfish had a reason for existing, unlike Catwoman or Gothika or anything she's done after X-Men 2.
