The Bore in general doesn't seem to have much of a backlash against this game.
I think it's fun, but something just feels a bit..."weird" about the game, especially online. The Tekken style movement for a lot of characters and juggle system aren't my thing compared to Street Fighter, but I'm getting to used to things. Biggest problem for me is that I want to use a lot of the DLC characters...not the current cast. Having fun with Poison n' Hugo and trolling with the Sony cats and Mega Man though.
If you want good stupid fun, however, the champ is Soul Calibur V. And it has way better netcode than this game does.
And the fighting game community? Bitching about a new game? GET OUTTA HERE THAT NEVER HAPPENS!

People will come around. I've seen some saying that the game was just "boring" at the last streamed tourney they had, but from all accounts most people had no idea what the hell they were doing.
This game isn't SF and it isn't Marvel...people have to learn new shit and they always complain about it. They're going for a 2-on-2 style format at EVO and there's already some people saying that they're "done with SFxTK because my local scene doesn't have enough people for that." Are you playing in these tourneys?
No? Then STFU and play the game how you want to.
This game is pretty fun, even if it need a mega patch or two to fix all the shit.
Best thing about the game is the netcode. Smooth gameplay with no input lag > sound effects.
Except when you get a shitty match and stuff rolls back.

They need to get the netcode patched (which they say they are doing) and fix that sound issue.
