However, soon after AT&T began selling this flagship device, we identified a software issue. In short, a memory management issue was discovered that could, in some cases, lead to loss of data connectivity. As a proactive and prudent measure, we decided, together with AT&T, to take immediate action. We have identified the issue, and have developed a solution.

If you have already purchased a Lumia 900, we are making two options available to you:

• You will be able to update your device with the latest software via Zune on or around Monday, April 16th.

or

• Swap your current Lumia 900 for an updated Lumia 900

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. As a gesture of good will, every individual who has already purchased a Nokia Lumia 900 — or who will purchase one between now and April 21st – will receive a $100 credit to their AT&T bill.

Yes, I'm totally not shilling for Windows Phone here.

Please support Windows Phone.

Love your honesty in here, Andrex-kun.

And best carrier = no carrier. Unbranded all the way.

At this point I'm obligated to do my schtick. Otherwise I'd disappoint all my fans. :fbm

On AT&T, but LOL Windows mobile.  The design of the Nokia Lumia is too sexy to be only WM only.

F
Could be the area I'm in but I've literally never had a problem with AT&T

But have you tried another carrier?

A lot of people got onto AT&T because it was the most popular carrier and never really gave a hoot to see how other networks compare.

In my area, the reception is always shit and it even dropped calls occasionally. 6 months ago, we switched to Sprint and are paying less  for 4 smartphones with unlimited data plans, then we did on AT&T for 4 dumb phones that had no data plans.

And the call quality is better too.

I've been on AT&T for around 5 years now, never really had a problem with dropped calls.  There was about a week long period where there was an issue with the towers, but that's about it.  I wouldn't blame that on AT&T per se, because hardware issues happen.  I'd like a little more versatility with the plans, but what are you gonna do there.

Ugh.  Windows Phone will never drop the stigma that it earned as Windows Mobile.  Most people have no idea that my phone is a windows phone when they use it but they all sing praises of how well it works.

Not bad, I'm a pretty heavy user too so unlimited data is very nice.

I'm usually averaging 5 GB a month. The past few days have been slow I guess due to being a new term.
