whoops!

8-3

Okay, maybe I am.  :-[

Now there is a chance for a comeback!

The dreaded Breezy + Bobrovsky tandem brings us to Game 5. I hope this isn't 2010.

There hasn't been a scoreless period in this series yet.

And with that, Pens tie it up. :D

Fleury may have been awful for most of this series, but he stood on his fucking head for that penalty and the aftermath!  :o

Series over.

3-0 Pens.  Yup.

It must suck to have this on record.

I say that as a Flyers fan, and one who likes bitter tears (because I've certainly got them too)  :lol

Will I regret this?

That third period is why, no matter how mediocre  (read: shitty) Fleury's stats are, sometimes he is the most clutch goalie in the league.

Wrong one goal lead.

To come back from the Bruins 3-0 to win the series to lose this series after leading 3-0 would be some dagger...

I'm so torn on the Boston/Caps series.

On the one hand, I'd love to see Tim Thomas and his tea party asshattery bounced from the playoffs.  Plus, the Leafs have been growing on me over the years of living in the GTA, and the Bruins embarrassed the Leafs so much this year that I'd love to see them get tossed.

On the other hand, I've always loved seeing the hyped up Caps choke in the playoffs.

Congrats, Lennedsay.

I have no hate for them, but it's still utterly incomprehensible to me that the fucking St. Louis Blues can be considered Stanley Cup favourites this year.  How the hell did that happen?  I don't even know if I can name a player on the Blues without looking it up.

The team is full of two-way forwards like Steen (lol the Leafs lost that trade) and Backes who are pretty boring to a non-fan, but are pretty valuable.

Their most only exciting player is Alex Pietrangelo, who has a great chance at the Norris in the future.

:bow Blues!!

The past few years, we've had a ton of great, young players with lots of potential. It never failed though, every season they would start dropping like flies with injuries. Some of them were forced to retire, some of them were out for months or even a year. We've been working with a skeleton crew for the last 3 seasons, pulling guys from the minors to have some relief. We finally have a full team and acquired some decent goalies this season, and it shows.

Oh Facebook, please bring out the fair-weathered fans who obsess about the Cards all fucking year long and bitch about the Blues without watching a single game since the lockout. I need an excuse to thin out my "friends" list.

Their most only exciting player is Alex Pietrangelo, who has a great chance at the Norris in the future.

With a couple years of NHL experience under his belt, Schwartz should be a really interesting player, but two goals in his first two games at 19 isn't half bad.

Like lennedsay said though, we do have a lot of younger players with potential. Perron being out the first few months didn't do much for him statistically, but if he keeps playing like he has the last few months his next few seasons should be great. Not to mention that he stunt doubles for Steve-O. I really would like to see Berglund play more like he did in the first game against SJ.

The injuries haven't been great this year, but at least we had a healthy line-up going into the playoffs. Along with Perron, we had McDonald, Steen and D'ags on extended vacation at various times during the season.

May make the trip back up to STL if we make WCF. :bow Schlafly's  :bow2 I'll probably be looking at staying closer to Scottrade than we usually do though, god damn Baseball.

Not at all.  I think you need the buildup of excitement and expectations of getting to the Stanley Cup final.  I don't think a first-round exit will spark a riot.

NBC and its sister networks are doing all the national games in the US for the next ten years.

Skill. His hand-eye-coordination is amazing. And players do use their feet to handle the puck. Watch Crosby here: #t=00m33s

Speaking of that game, I'm lad Seguin got the winner--Leaf fans were getting (more) annoying.
