MS is raising the price of the premium 360

Nah.  They've stated from the start that the core box was the one they wanted to get down to the $150 or less range.  This thing will be marketed to movie/TV downloaders, and I'm sure the 120 gig HD will be available separately.  I'm sure the HDMI will mean something to someone, but I couldn't care less.  I just play games on my 360.

No way they eliminate the Core. They make money off the extra accessories sold and it's their entry point to the mainstream.
