I'm always a bit private so I guess I keep enough stuff private that I don't have these kind of issues. I've always liked online communities but I've also always felt its better to keep a pretty clear wall in that stuff from my real life. I notice younger people either don't care or make no such distinctions.

The worst I've seen from people tends to be on Facebook anyway...and of course there nobody is hiding behind a screen name.  One guy that got canned from work went on a tirade against the company and wrote a huge post, naming specific individuals and making little "threats" against them.  Amazingly, he never deleted it.
