wednesday was my last day of work for my extended vacation.  i spent damn near every second of the last four days in my computer chair, playing the FUCK outta some videogames.  skyrim mostly, but yesterday i went through all of portal 2.   damn fine games.  tomorrow i gotta work, but it should be pretty chill and ill prolly bring some bbq.

Went to the coast on Friday to visit family, watched The Avengers on Friday evening- on Saturday I went to Ruby Beach and Ocean Shores, ate too much FRIED at a seafood place- came home and watched bad movies till bed. Sunday I woke up, drove back to Seattle- and have spent the remainder of the day napping. Tomorrow i'm going to be watching TV while handling some work stuff to make my work week a little less insane.

I got to my parents house, ate some grub, then when it came time for movie time my mom pulled out Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - the Sanda Bullock/Tom Hanks 911 movie. I love me some Hanks but this shit sucked so bad. We didn't have time for any Wesley Snipes  :'(

Helped move some extended family yesterday and was treated to vegan pizza YAY! 

Today I've done nothing but clean my place up and installed some new curtains. Now I'm making homemade meatballs and gonna enjoy a nice dinner with some wine. I finally get to taste my garden greens tonight as well. I grew some hydroponic lettuce's over the past few months in my hanging wall garden.

Tomorrow its off to see MIB3 and some putt putt golf with the missus. Then Tuesday I'm going fishing and hiking by myself.

My super-exciting weekend:

Friday- The wife went to a company dinner (no spoouses), so I got Chinese and promptly fell asleep afterwards.  Woke up for a bit after she went to sleep and played video games.

Saturday- Did absolutely NOTHING.  I woke up late and wanted to go out somewhere, but my wife was tired/not feeling well and spent most of the day napping and on the Internet.  We watched some movies and shows an that was about it.  The Dictator was not as good as Borat and Bruno.  I think I even liked the way more stupid/juvenile Ali G movie more.  We went out to get some food and found everything...weird.  I dunno what it was about Saturday, but people all over the place were being bigger assholes than usual.  Maybe it was the weather.

Sunday- Pretty much a repeat of Saturday, only this time I was the one sleeping the day away. 

Today- BBQ at my parents' house in the evening...that's about it.  Lazy day #3, but that's okay- only working three days this week and I get another three day weekend.

I had crazy Friday, it started out nice with a date and some good company at a small bar and ended up in a couple's house neither me nor my date knows. We witnessed some weird ass wife swapping at the porch at 3am. A while later the wives were slapping each other and having a drunken meltdown. It was sobering.

Saturday was laid back and nice, had some surprisingly good Middle Eastern food (first time at The Vine), then we went back home to watch Drive on Netflix, and had a couple of drinks at another small neighborhood bar (my date may or may not have an alcohol problem).

Today was unproductive and lame though, I woke up to an email from a professor chastising me for withdrawing from his summer class (3 condensed courses were too much, I want to enjoy my summer dammit), and couldn't work through any of my planned chores of the day.

Woke up, did gardening until noon. Went to Toys R Us with friends from college but avoided buying stuff. Swam in a pool and sat in a jacuzzi. Barbecued chicken and brats, drank some wine, sang a BUNCH of karaoke (well, LIPS game) and then watched Game of Thrones.

yesterday morning we went to ihop. want to know how to make soggy bacon? ask ihop. they know how. then we just laid around taking naps and watching tv until the evening.

today i have to work but am stalling mightily

Sunday was great, but Monday was also pretty good: Went to a microbrewery, had lots of beer with a bunch of friends, then saw The Avengers, which was GREAT.

Unfortunately, I've still got some muscle pain from the last week of working out after missing a week, and it woke me up at 3:00 a.m. and again at 5:30 a.m. when I just gave up and got up and cleaned house and made breakfast for everyone.

Almost getting arrested, getting a $570 citation, getting a second citation for making Internet death threats, almost killing my neighbor, possibly getting evicted but definitely breaking the lease, basically losing my girlfriend, almost killing myself through blood loss/fire, and spending the morning of Memorial Day in an Emergency Room spouting religious zealotry!

All in all, a great way to remember the people who have died for our country to allow foolish people like me to make mistakes without having primal and savage consequences for them.

I hope to one day enlist, myself, so I can help a troubled 23 year old man drink himself stupid and beat himself up on his bathroom mirror.

Friday - Finished Diablo 3

Saturday - Went to a friends cabin near lake Wallenpaupack. Drank, went out on a long boat rides, drank.

Sunday - Went for a long boat ride. Felt like shit cause of all the drinking the night before. Set off some fireworks. Had one bounce off my cheek an inch under my eye and then explode 10 feet away inside the garage we were in. If it weren't for my ninja reflexes, it would have hit me in the face and dropped to my feet and exploded if I didn't do a 180. Then I burned 2 fingers lighting a sparkler.

Monday - Came home. Cleaned the kitchen and watched a Pawn Stars marathon.
