It will be called ‘Storyteller’ and will see PS3 – and possibly Vita – used to present interactive documents and books, with a particular focus on children’s content.

No 720
PS4, a bunch of obviously non-game footage passed off as in-game footage, maybe some historically accurate crabs
Weeeeeeoooooo avalanche of info, confirming that it's gonna be an underpowered stop-gap of a next gen console.  Damage control out the anoose.

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/sony-close-to-agreeing-cloud-gaming-acquisition/096914
Quote
In a move that will rock the next generation of console gaming, Sony is close to agreeing an acquisition of a high profile cloud gaming firm, MCV understands.

It was reported earlier this week that Sony was to reveal a partnership with a cloud gaming firm – specifically either OnLive or Gaikai – at E3 next week.

Subsequent chatter had seemingly calmed the rumours, suggesting that the proposed agreement was to do with Sony streaming TV services, and not consoles.

However, MCV understands that the deal is far more extensive than anyone could have predicted and will see Sony fully acquire one of the two firms. The deal, our source says, “is close to being signed”.

Another prediction---plenty of funny things will come out from this

Blu-ray is not the future anymore

Resistance is dead bro

If they show off Gravity Rush in a big manner at E3 Vita will share the same fate as Resistance.

My prediction is the same thing that happens with every E3. People will make a big deal about things for about two weeks and declare forum "winners" and "losers" which bear no relation to actual reality for most consumers and then promptly forget or even care what happened a week after that until the cycle repeats for the next year.

I predict this is faker than the average Vivid girl's breasts. Kingdom Hearts 1,2, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, and Birth By Sleep receiving HD upgrades and launching on PS3, Wii U, and PS VITA is a joke. Firstly, that's way too many games for a collection release. After all, Square Enix is releasing FFX HD all by itself. Not only that, that's a weird combination of titles. Why are the DS/GBA games there? The DS game in particular is going to look like ass in HD and would require a full on remake. For Chain of Memories, why not port Re: Chain of Memories, the PS2 remake? The most damning thing IMO is the fact it supposedly has 2 possible titles; Kingdom Hearts: HD Remix or Kingdom Hearts: Remembrance. Those are way too normal for this franchise.

- The first round of Wii U software will be comparable with 2008 360/PS3 releases.  Nintards rejoice, the rest of the gaming world laughs.

- Nintards are baffled at industry insidahs like IdeaMan and ShockingAlberto because their predictions were so far off.  Some Nintards will make shit up to make it seem like these ninnies were right all along.  Other Nintards will want justice and the remainder will concoct new defense mechanisms to make these games seem comparable to the Xbox 3/PlayStation 4 games that will be shown.

- The Vita won't have shit.  The Vitatards out there will start screaming for a price drop + memory card but the rest of the gaming world knows the truth that the Vita is dead.  Future Vita releases will start to be canned, moved to the 3DS, or postponed indefinitely and so begins the Vita death march, fading away into obscurity and then cancelled when the PS4 launches.

- The PS4 will be announced, complete will the standard Sony fare of bullshots.  Sfags awaken from their three year slumber and start making those painfully obnoxious .gifs that they were wont to do from 2005-2009.  While Sony will aim for a more affordable console vs. the PS3, they will still overpromise and underdeliver, as per their policy since the PS1 launched in 1994.

- Xbox 3 will be announced.  It will be packed to the brim with social features, Kinect, and other crapola that I hate in mah vidyagames.  It will have a lot of Windows 8 connectivity, with phones, tablets, and PCs.  Microsoft is really making this push for cross connectivity recently so it seems foolish that the Xbox 3 will be exempt.  On the contrary, it will be their centerpiece.  The overarching goal is to get people to constantly play games on Microsoft products at all times (play Xbox 3 at home, play XBLA games on your phone/tablet outside of home, etc.)

- Nickel and diming schemes out the fucking ass, making horse armor a beloved memory by comparison.

Sequels to Mario Bros., Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Mario Party, Smash Bros., Pokemon, and Zelda

Practically none of those will be revealed at E3 (unless we're talking about handhelds, in which case, who cares?)

Sho Nuff's only prediction:

A famous UFC fighter will come out to demo the dashboard, using Kinect to navigate to the UFC app. He will start the app and then select a fight that he won.  They will watch the fight and the MC will be like "Wow that was a powerful knockout, I hope you don't get mad at me! Hurr hurr" The UFC fighter then will smile awkwardly and shuffle off the stage, where his agent will insist that he did GREAT.

My first prediction is this

M$ is going to release a nondisc based 360 with built in flash aimed at entertainment more so than gaming. It will have all the abilities of a 360 it just wont play disc based games. Netflix and some other services will no longer require gold to use them. Zune marketplace will be evolved by integrating it more closely with all media available through the 360 streaming services.

Second possible prediction

A lot of games have been moving their release dates around. I believe this is cause Nintendo has realized they are going to be dead in the water if they don't have the newest games. So expect a lot of WiiU crap being talked about for games that got pushed back into 2013 after WiiU release.
