I'm waiting for a price drop since I've already beaten it with two characters. It's my favorite Ys game and people who haven't played it before should definitely pick it up.

Been playing a bit over the past few days. It's a fun game, simple but keeps up a quick pace and doesn't try to bog things down with excessive story and whatnot.

no, it's nothing like diablo. it's animu zelda with rad boss patterns, hard difficulty, and rocking dungeon design. in other words, zelda, except good.

i am a zelda fan. But it's the best thing I can compare it to that you'd recognize the game structure and poke at nintendo at the same time.

I've put about three hours in and I'm at the fourth boss in the game.

This game is amazing.  Fun and simplistic.  The game keeps moving with minimal cutscene bullshit and any uguu is suppressed, the way JRPGs should be if you absolutely have to use anime art styles.  The kind of uguu that doesn't make you feel like a NeoGAF pedophile, which is almost a redundant phrase.

I'm playing as the girl character.  The biggest plus is that it works perfectly with the 360 controller.

The best part is that it is only $20.  Ys The Oath in Felghana is going for $15 on Steam right now.  By getting both for $35, that is more fun than you'll probably ever have with a stupid and shitty 3DS title that will go for about the same amount.  Seriously, Paper Mario Sticker Star isn't going to be a good game but I know there will be some clowns here that will buy it nevertheless while skipping out on these two games.  Fuck you if you're one of these feggits.  Support small, indie folks like xseed instead of lazy ass Nintendo.

Buy this game!

This post gets a lot funnier if you remember that The Experiment thought South Park:Paper Mario was the most exciting thing to be shown at E3.

This post doesn't make any sense.  I thought Paper Mario 2 for Gamecube was one of the best games for that system.  It is just that Sticker Star looks like gimmicky shit in a series that has been on a significant decline since Paper Mario 2.

Paper Mario 2 was good but slow and challenging which made it boring as hell

I just think South Park looks shit and I'm not seeing the vast chasm between that, which you apparently think is amazing and the 'gimmicky shit' that is the new Paper Mario, which looks like all the other ones to me (I never played the Wii one).  I thought the N64 one was better than 2 as well.  So it's been significant decline since the first one, I guess.

You think South Park looks like shit? Gimmicky? Based on what? It looks like the cartoon show. We haven't seen a single demo or walkthrough of the game, so how can you say it looks like shit, when it looks exactly like the show that influenced it?

I didn't say it looks gimmicky, I said it looks shit (cos its South Park) and a lot like a Paper Mario game.  His weird non-sequitur tantrum just put 'piss in this guy's eye and see what happens' on my Terminator vision overlay, and who am I to argue with that?

South Park looks great and interesting.
Paper Mario looks good but boring because it's been done a bunch of times already in the series.

Plus I mean come the fuck on son, Obsidian writing/gameplay >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Paper Mario
