this is probably for the best. I'd rather have some SEGA than a SEGA killing itself with expenditure it will never get back. Best of luck to all the employees though.

I hope PSO2 comes out in the west.  I'm too lazy to figure out things in the Japanese one.  :'(

The Phantasy Star XYZ community has always been good about fan patches, mods and even creating servers to keep old games alive. Even if we never get it officially we'll still be able to play it in English unless SEGA goes full distinguished mentally-challenged fellow and starts to hash check non game critical files before launch.
