iPod/iTunes questions
« on: January 07, 2007, 03:20:01 AM »
I'm kinda thinking about getting an iPod. School starts on Monday, and once again I plan on walking. It would be nice to listen to music while doing that. So as soon as I find a cheap iPod Nano (lol) I'll get it, but I have questions

1. I have iTunes on my computer already. When I get the iPod would it be possible to buy a card with a certain amount of money/points/whatever that go towards purchasing music? Or do I have to use a credit card?

2. Would it be possible for me to put various recordings that I've made (using a mic) onto the iPod? I would like to be able to record myself reading notes from school, and then listen to them while I do things like walk to school or level grind in WoW.

3. The iPod Nano costs like $150. Is there any place I can buy it cheaper lol?

for the love of god do not buy an ipod, there are plenty of better mp3 players that don't require some fucking proprietary software.

Viz doesn't know what he is talking about.  iPods are about as easy to use as they get.  1 and 2 on your list are easily done.  I can;t speak on 3.  I can do 3, but I can't make you any promises.

Maybe get an iPod off of ebay, if you're looking for a cheap one?

I had an iPod not too long ago but these days I just use my mobile phone as my MP3 player/PMP.

Go with eBay if you want a cheap(er) iPod.

I have a Nano. It's pink. :) I don't know how much it cost because Ecrofirt bought it for me [4-year anniversary, maybe? I forget] but I'm certain it cost less than my brother's iPod Nano. He has 2 gigs and I only have 1, but 1 gig is fine with me. :heartbeat
