I got minorly excited by the thread title, because I need to get a blu-ray player anyway so I was gonna thinking "PS3 system bundle with the game" but instead it's a bunch of old games I'll never have the time or inclination to play anyway.

I still have the 320GB PS3 and an extra controller that my mom gave me for Xmas if anyone is interested. I also have a bunch of PS3 games that I can sell with it. Most of them are system exclusives and high on gamerankings. There aren't that many new games though. I don't think I bought anything after the last Ratchet and FF13.

I kept most of my games in the past but I just don't play consoles much anymore.

The PC got ports of at least RE1 and 2. I had the RE1 PC version, it was kool because it let you skip the opening door cutscenes.

I basically need to buy a PS3 to replay RE2. I remember when I picked up that title. I saved up my paper out money for a month. I had already rented the game and completed it once. I needed more. I took my 100$ cash down to the local game store, they turned me down as the game had a Euro 18 rating. My dad come down and said "sell him the damn Playstation game". Goddamn I was so happy taking home that 2 disc set. Uh, that is all

You can play RE2 on the PC. Probably loads much faster. The loadtimes were unbearably long when playing oldschool RE games on consoles.
