Ok, just found one problem - the D-Pad seems to only do diagonals when you press left or right. When I move Samus, she only points diagonal when moving... same thing in Contra 3. Must be clicking both up and left/right when I press it. Wonder if this is fixable if I take it apart.

lol- the hell!?

Great compat - it's not for me personally, but looks to be one of the few top tier units (as long as using a pad sorts out the issues with controls)

It's not really so bad, if it was my first time experiencing these games I would be disappointed. Emulating SNES games I have already played and finished doesnt have to be perfect for me to enjoy it. Besides I still have the superior 16-bit HW, Mega Drive :bow

Pretty sure that thing would be emulating the SNES BIOS in some form so the cart is likely picking up it's not the real deal

I really wish I had some actual SNES carts, my DS pir8 port of Chrono Trigger fucked out after 3 hours, wont play anymore. Also tried to play FF6 emu'ed on PSP. Ran like ass and I gave up after 10 minutes. I was then embarrassed for not knowing about some sweet ass train suplex scene in FF6. I'm going legit from now on. I got so burned with piracy.

I tried varying games with special chips....

- Mario Kart - works
- Mario RPG - works (though i read there are varying versions of this, etc. so i might just be lucky)
- Dirt Track FX - works (same engine as Stunt Race FX i believe)
- Donkey Kong Country (1, 2, 3) - aside from getting a piracy warning on DKC1, they all worked fine
- Kirby Super Star - Did not work... but again theres a video on youtube explaining multiple versions and shwing that it does indeed work, i think i got the bum version, will have to test on my real SNES to make sure its not just the cart

Random games

- Metroid, FZero, Wanderers from Ys 3, BrainLord, Secret of Evermore, Killer Instinct, Mystic Quest, Contra 3, Big Sky Trooper - all work...

Gonna take this to work and get mad pussy

AC Adapter

It uses a rechargable battery. Some random Nokia battery, easily replacable I think.

Battery life isnt too hot. At most 3 hours. So it isnt as portable as advertised. But... yeah, you'd look like a dummy with it in public anyway.

Fucking lame Amazon only ship this to US addresses :/

Just noticed this bad boy plays PAL cartridges too, I wonder how it handles the speed differences.

Edit: While on the topic, I wonder if there's a version of this with superior PAL joypad colours, you yanks can keep your damn lavender buttons thanks.

BTW MegaDrive had Speedball 2, the most European game of all time, which makes us PAL gamers all superior. So suck it.

One of my jobs got this thing in along with some of those machines that play NES/SNES/Genesis carts all in one. Apparently this company also makes a machine that plays all three gens of Playstation according to the letter/sheet thing we were sent? I haven't looked directly into it yet.

There is just about zero way this is PS1, PS2 and PS3. Maybe PS1, PSMemory Card and PS Suite things.

Depending on the hardware size, I could see PS2 happening since it's chips have gotten smaller over the years. PS3? Extremely doubtful.

PS2 had some pretty unique chips in there I do not see anyone writing a check to make new chip development(reverse engineering) and fabrication possible, it wouldn't be profitable. And a PC that could emulate PS2 would set you back more than a PS3 :-\

I can't imagine how topheavy it would be with the Super GB on it.  Adding a few extra pounds just to play a GB game in color is actually kind of hilarious and I think I would totally sit in a mall with one just for the WTFs.

ha, I can imagine being a kid and seeing that.  I wasn't that impressed with 3D at first...I thought we'd be dealing with face-less polygons and 5fps for at least a decade.  I wasn't a very smart kid.

Speaking of Nomads, they're still going for stupid money on ebay, considering the lower priced alternatives that have rechargeable battery packs.
