if you are having trouble running ps1 images it's probably because you aren't using popsloader

there is also a decent VBA port

I've tried a few different Popsloader versions, but I can't find anyone working for some of my rarer games like Final Fantasy III and Brigandine: Grand Edition.

What do you use your hacked PSP for? I can only get half of my PS1 images to run on it properly and the screenshot function was neat, but not gamechanging.

Play my games on one card instead of hauling around the UMDs. I dont bother with emulators or PS1 much.

Definitely this, plus running games at 333mhz can make some titles noticeably smoother (Outrun 2SP and Tomb Raider Legend, for example).  I loaded my PSP/Go up with games and a few select emulators that I like.
