I keep having this awful realization about myself and facebook: I really don't care about the daily happenings of others' lives.

That is because most people live boring lives.  Which is okay because most people (myself included) are boring people and trying to pretend that you're not comes off as sad or a try hard more often than not.

I had a friend who liked posting Nobama crap.  So I defriended him.  A week later, I got a pissy message from him asking why I took him off.  I told him I got annoyed seeing the Nobama crap.  Never heard back from him again.  Oh well.
