Given the absolutely abysmal and appalling actions of many developers this generation [EA, Activision, Capcom, Scamco, THQ, ect. ect.], Valve comes across as absolutely saints. I'd say the same of CD Projekt and Bethesda [outside of some published games of questionable quality].

I'm glad a Linux client is coming out. But you have to wonder how many games will be available outside of Valve's offerings.
A good number of the various indie bundles have had Linux versions available, hopefully they'll get on board. The Desura client for Linux needs some work.
I can confirm this I have 12 perfectly awesome games on Desura. The linux content is there, it just needs a stage. (indie games mostly at this point though)
