New X360 BC list announced

Quote
"Microsoft has decided, to update the Backwards Compatibility update, one last time, but this time it's going to include a threshold of new games, including Morrowind GOTY, and original, Farcry Instincts: Evolution, Timesplitters: Future Perfect, Phantom Dust, Hunter The Reckoning: Redeemer, Jet Set Radio Future, Tenchu: Return From Darkness, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, Oddworld, along with many others, keep tracked for more info."

Straight from X-box magazine.

Final Update? wtf?

Out of my collection, only Jade Empire, JSRF, Phantom Dust, Shenmue II, Riddick, Psychonauts, DOAU, and I think that's it work.

Hopefully Panzer Dragoon Orta and some of those 2d fighters work with this or I'm going to be pissed. There is no excuse for this, and I should not have to keep my original Xbox safe and pray to God it doesn't break in case I ever want to play Panzer fucking Dragoon Orta.

They really need to fix KOTOR's bc.  I've had probably around 100 glitches (crashes, weapon sound effects dropping, 30 seconds for a cutscene to start, etc.) since I've started and that's probably been around 35-40 hours.

It's great news to see my favorite Xbox game on the list now (JSRF), but still. PANZER DRAGOON.

Hopefully they fix a lot of the bugs in other games, and I hope these play well.  But while they have only BCed a fraction of the library, aside from Orta they got everything important.

Didn't this info come from a somewhat sketchy source?

Anyway:

Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Call of Duty 2: Big Red One
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood

Goddamn you, Microsoft, you better get at least some of those on the next BC list.  They are all best-selling games, and RTCW was the most popular Xbox Live title for a long while.  I know I can play them on other systems or on the PC, but that's not the point.  And you better get your BC shit together for Xbox 720 or whatever the hell it's gonna be called.

Seriously. I haven't had it crash yet, but it's got the choppiest frame rate I've seen in a game.
It's so ugly yet so beautiful at the same time.  I heard that it was also the buggiest game on xbox 1 making me think that that's the only reason it didn't get goty on every site.  I get a crash like half the time I play though and it didn't start updating it until I put another newly bc'd game in to see if that works.

I think it's the movies that fuck this game up because all the glitches happen right before or after one of them.
