From what I can tell it's updated graphics (or just the PS2 version in HD) with an option for original Saturn graphics.

I hope very much this is the beginning of a trend and more of Sega's rather awesome Japan only PS2-retro ports come here.

I'll probably be getting this at some point, because I am Sega's cheap trick on their old stuff.

Eh. Not saying it's bad, because it's not. It's still really fun, but not as it used to be for me. I don't think it can go up against the best of the Saturn, is all.

I played through the PS2 version when it came out and still really enjoyed it. Great game.
