Frozen Synapse is an amazing deal. It's actually $2.50 for two copies of the game.

Yeah, I hear Borderlands pc is fucked, hence the question. I hear the game itself is great, so it's deffo worth a fiver, but how bad exactly is the pc port? Does it have 360 pad support?

How willing are you to add three or four lines to an .ini?

That's what you want to to do in order to fix the FOV and most issues now. They patched some of them.

Thankfully 2 is going to not have these problems.

Last I knew: locked at 30 fps, doesn't work on some graphic cards, ubisofts drm, etc.

you don't need to mess with ini stuff anymore, I think. I'm pretty sure fans rigged up programs with nice guis to simplify that whole process. Don't know if Gearbox ever took out Gamespy for the multiplayer, though.

Borderlands looks and runs great on PC. I only played it solo though. Maybe people had problems with the MP?

Alan Wake PC is amazing. It looks 10x better than the 360 version if your hardware is powerful enough. For sure it's a better deal than any movie right now.

No, GameSpy is locked in. 2 will have Steamworks.

Forgot there's programs. I still copy over my .ini's since I backed them up.

Game basically didn't support scroll wheels on mice or widescreen at launch.

Got Super Meat Boy and Borderlands GOTY. I think this is the third time I've purchased Borderlands.

Sonic Generations and Dead Island are tempting but I know I can wait for the next sale and get them for a couple bucks each.

I'm loving this sale. I bought 8 quality games for less than $35.
