I was going to get Office 2010 with my new notebook, since it had the starter edition installed, but I decided to wait for the next edition since it was just around the corner.

I think I can live with the 2010 starter edition until 2013 hits retail, no?

2013 won't hit retail for about a year I think, a "Consumer Preview" is what's launching alongside Windows 8 and I don't think that will be available for XP/Vista/7, those will have to wait for the final release.

I think I can live off of Office 2010 Starter Edition and Google Drive until then. If worse comes to worse, I can get a 2010 Home and Office code off of Amazon for $150.

I'll use it when I'm forced to, and will install Ubitmenu or something to give me back my menus.

And I'll continue to save everything in 97-2003 format. I spit in the face of change.

That said, if newer versions auto-wrap the quick access toolbar buttons so they appear on more than one line if the window is too narrow that would be good. Boggles my mind why it wasn't like this originally unless they wanted to force us to use the ribbon instead of convenient shortcuts. Dickheads.
