Thought this game was rather bad in the end. Sure combat was a step up from Skyrim, but everything else was pretty bland. The story was pretty meh, which normally wouldn't matter, except it did'nt help that the art and world were also bland. So I'm just sitting here surrounded by things that don't interests me and then I have to ask why go on? I guess I should go on because of the combat, but I'm mostly doing combat in very MMO like quests. But not the good MMO quests, the go here and kill 5 or 1 thing quests or collect some shit. That get's boring. Then the combat starts to ware. It may be better then Skyrim, but it's still pretty shallow. And then while it beats Skyrim with combat it doesn't when it actually comes to the world. The world in Amular was filled with invisible walls and the like. it didn't feel open and would suck when you were like "man if only I could cut through here to get to my quest area, but since I can't I have to walk all around". That hurts a supposedly open world rpg.

I think I got 15hours out of the game. I guess thats pretty good, but in the end I saw no reason to continue.

Thank you, RA Salvatore and Todd McFarlane, for designing the blandest, most boring RPG imaginable.

Elf tits in the demo piqued my interest marginally, but that's where the fun seemed to end.

Curt Schilling hit a homerun with this game, just like he did during his baseball days!

Some people really seem to like this game. I dunno. The dialog is horrendous, the plot is like like. Somebody payed RA Salvatore to write a book, then he dropped it in a shredder and some intern had to piece it back together. It is not good. The combat is fine, but boring. The quests are fine, but boring. Everything looks the same. Returned to GameStop for Enslaved. Better idea.

In a year full of dudebro cover shooters, this game will probably end up being the most uninspired, generic, paint by numbers game of the year.

I played the demo for the free Mass Effect items, and it was pretty frickin bad. Just the most generic shit. Like Fable but even worse somehow. Quite how they have a team of 300 people working on a game and they hire some art guys and they poop out that kind of shit boggles my mind.

Yeah, I was on the "Wait for $20" drill, but after the demo was finished with Tutorial Mode, there was no further need to play. Yup. Got it. Thanks.
