Got the update. Its not bad although its minor. It organizes things a bit better within that metro construct although I'm still not a huge fan of the metro ui.

It adds pins which is basically a customizable quick start menu. That's pretty nice and probably the most useful feature. There is a recommendation portion now that recommends games and music and videos and stuff but who cares or needs that really except very casual people.

Internet explorer is on there. It's actually a pretty decent browser for this type of device (its faster than my ipad for instance) although who surfs on their console. Also it doesn't have flash support which renders it useless since that's the only reason I may have ever used it.

Overall the dash feels a little faster and snappier so far.

I like IE on Xbox. Runs better than PS3's hacked together browser, I dont have to hunk over my PC, and my iPod browser is shit. Reddit Gonewildplus works, so I can jack off then turn right on over to pla some games.

the 'pins' sounds like a worthwhile feature and good to hear the dash is running smoother, can be quite chuggy at times.

A feature which I have been wanting forever, is a way to sort a game's downloadable items by content type. What I mean is make it so the marketplace will filter by "add-ons" only. So often I'm scrolling through a giant list trying find the actual DLC, and have to wade through a ton of trailer videos, avatar junk etc.

Meant the old dash this is replacing, actually. Really like the pins idea since that means I can maybe just go to actual GAME content on my goddamn GAMING CONSOLE and not put up with some streaming music/movies nonsense on the way there.

No flash support

Maybe some high end pay-sites might serve up streaming video in a variety of formats, but afaik no flash rules out the majority of porn on the net

I tried xtube and xhamster, neither of which got me very far. You can selecet an option in settings that loads mobile pages, so perhaps it might work on those.

YouTube loaded, it installed an "optional media update" for some reason, but it loaded soon after (albeit choppy).

Reddit Gonewild / gonewildplus however work just fine. I havent tried other sites like pornhub, etc. since frankly all that stuff sucks compared to to the ones I tried.
