I remember at my religious high school when we had a "spiritual life" conference about relationships.

And guess what? The two people they brought in to speak to us about "proper" relationships had never had a single relationship in their lives. Also, the two speakers were, to one another, brother and sister so that only added to awkwardness.

Additionally, the guy wasn't as straight as he was making himself out to be. I knew this when he started off one of his talks, to us male students, with the opening line: "When I was about your age I was really into candles. Scented candles to be more percise because.. y'know I liked to pretend I was a monk with incense and candles. You guys ever do that?"

Liking scented candles isn't gay in and of itself but it was the first out of many indicators that this guy might've been hiding something about his sexuality.

Here's some that I remember:
-He told us that he had a really great guy friend who was currently struggling with homosexuality.
-He said that the reason why he hadn't found a girl to marry at the age of 26 was because there weren't any that matched "God's standards" for him. Whatever the hell that means. I mean come on, there's intensely devout Christian girls everywhere in the southeast.
-He told us that he was really good friends with his sister throughout his life because he didn't get along too well with the guys at his Christian school.
