Public Pools are disgusting

How can public pools be so popular? I don't care how hot it is, I'm not taking a roman bath with your booger flicking, butt itching child. You can't get a proper swim because the pool is filled with fat kids. You can't cannonball because it'll scare the half-awake lifeguard. Children are swallowing the water to spit it back out at their friend who is erstwhile relieving him or herself. Open wounds are having a big old party.

On the plus side there's usually enough shit in the pool to kill a lot of that junk- on the downside "MY EYES MY EYES!! RAHGHGHG"
