Well, Mega Man V GB was kind of cool and was the only completely original entry, but the GB games haven't aged well. All over the Sega stuff though.

Unchained Blades could be good, but I'm very hesitant on dropping $30 on an eShop title knowing the drawbacks.

It's also on PSP, which uses a real account system.

unchained blade is averagish,it's not bad but you aren't missing much unless you have to play every dungeon crawler on the earth... the worst bit of it are the judgement battle,in the game you get to capture monsters and assign them to party member and they sometime take a blow for you or do follow up attack (most of the time for a single whooping point of damage) but whetever you capture a monster or not is completly random... everytime you hit a monster there is a chance he'll surrender and you have then to ask him to join next turn but more often than not,you hit a monster... he surrender... you hit him again... he dies

so yeah... judgement battle,in judgement battle your whole monster collection fight another big monster collection,if you don't have enough you end up losing and you are then forced to wander up and down until more monster joins and it completly sucks donkey balls

You get a free StreetPass - assumingly someone else's information.

You leave yours there for the next person.

Next person gets your information.

Actually I didn't even play the StreetPass games until the end of the last day, when an e-friend got me into them. What I did use them for was MH3U, which thankfully has a 100 (I think) limit on Guild Cards.

I got soooo many people doing my bidding, I send them out to get resources around the clock.

admittedly i'm not really every *out and about*

so I typically only get people from work.
the same 3 people every day.

i do pass by a mcdonalds every day but thats in my car and it's only for a second. i dunno if it's close enough or long enough and i dont even think many people in buffalo have a 3ds.

but i'm going to PAX next year so i'll def get tons of fucking streetpasses

You can probably troll around UB for streetpasses, tons of gamers up there when I went to school there, I imagine that not much has changed.

was hoping for a Zelda Link Between World 3DS XL bundle, but there's finally a single color (black) XL coming this year. will pick one up in in november or something.

from what I understand there was an update that lets you backup digital game saves, so I can transfer my 3DS stuff to XL without losing all the save data?

I'm fine with the character design, but what's really wrong with that new artwork is that it's far less detailed and rough than the left one. Look at the boots, holy shit. Who painted that? An intern? Look at the shading and shadow gradients. It looks like a rough painting character design sketch. There's zero grass under Link, and the wall looks terrible.

Fire Emblem: Awakening and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars are both great. Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy is good if you're a fan of the music. Pushmo and Crimson Shroud are high quality downloadable games.

Just picked up an XL. I have completely been out of the handheld loop since I sold my Vita last year and don't even know whats on the 3DS beyond a few games.....any of yo have some quick rpg recommendations for me? Going to pick up Fire Emblem but other than that I dunno.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is pretty great and I plan to pick up Etrian Odyssey IV this week. That should be fun too.
