You just don't understand what Link to the Past means to me. :'(

And the game visually looked like ass when it was revealed and looks like ass to this day. If you're going to pay tribute to LttP's awesomeness you don't do it with assy graphics. It would be like remaking Journey with Wii-level graphics and a gray/brown color pallet. It demonstrates a fundamental lack of reverence for the original, which doesn't bode well for the rest of the game.

3ds xl is already so much better than original 3ds in the minute or two I messed with it.

is there a guide to transferring data from one 3ds to another?

The graphics are a lot better than in screen shots, with 3D on. It also runs at a great frame rate

Zelda looks awesome- bright, clean, well-animated visuals that do a good job recreating the SNES LttP look. Andrex got hit in the head with too many Chromebooks or something.

An upcoming system update for Nintendo 3DS will let users combine their 3DS and Wii U eShop balances into a single Nintendo Network ID.

The update means that eShop funds will no longer be split between Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U, but unified in a single account

I have enjoyed using my 3DS XL enough that I started looking into the 3DS games I've missed over the past year or two (last retail game I bought was Kid Icarus). Slowly realizing that the 3DS lineup isn't as good as others led me to believe, because I'm not much into RPG/strategy games these days. If that Wii U Luigi Mansion rumor doesn't pan out I'll definitely pick that up, and maybe Crashmo, but I don't know what else.

Pretty much. It's usually a dust magnet for me, although with Zelda, Ace Attorney, and Senran Kagura, I've been playing it quite a bit.

Apparently it fits pretty good in your hands. The only thing you miss is the 3D, which is probably not a dealbreaker for Bravely Default. The screens are also regular 3DS size - so you miss the big fat goodness of XL.

Bravely default has some pay to win shit that bothers me. Like normally you get sp(sleep points) for not playing the game. On top of that you can buy sp drinks with real money that give you 15 sp each. Essentially they break the game it look to me or so it looks like so i will try and beat the game without it on hard of course.

The backgrounds look nice but the characters... just hate how they were re-drawn.

The battery life isn't as good as the XL's either.

People keep saying how comfortable the 2DS is, which really makes me want to get one -the 3DS cramps my hands- but too many reviewers end up saying that they still like the XL better in the end.

Man, this is good. Its weird being blown away by the spectacle of a 25-year-old game, but holy crap, M2 did one hellava job on this. The 3D is bloody amazing, and the game/tuning options are frigging great. They did a great job with Space Harrier, they did a great great job with Galaxy Force II.

Well I got the 2DS. Kind of wish I hadn't. The screen is just so small. I mean I got it because I heard it was comfortable-it is- and it was cheaper, plus I don't care about 3D. It's just the screen isn't nice to look at. I may have been happier spending more to get a XL. Oh well.

I got Bravely Defualt(eh), Pokemon Y( I guess being in 3d is cool), and SMTIV. Hope this was all worth the money. Though I guess now I can have informed hate.

My XL got some sort of crack in the LCD screen. It's not an external crack on the screen, it seems to be on the inner LCD. I have no idea how it happened, perhaps it got crushed in some way in my coat pocket.
