In 'Merica for the weekend. In a grocery store, came across a 750mL bottle of "Royal Canadian" whiskey. For 8.50.

Now this "Canadian" whiskey isn't sold in Canada. And it's the cheapest bottle of Canadian whiskey I've ever seen.

So I bought it, knowing it is probably shit. And it is shit, you'd never want to drink this stuff neat.

But that's what I'm drinking tonight. It's not totally offensive in a mixed drink...

Actually, quite a few of the Canadian Whiskies I see in American liquor stores, I've never seen in Ontario. Maybe they are also sold out in the western provinces, tho.

I've tried this a few times and it's crazy. Each time I try it it tastes totally different. I add a few drops of water and the taste changes. I add a splash and it's totally different. I drink it w/ an ice cube or two and it's totally different again.

I never drank bud until I moved to Alabama, their wasn't really any good micro brews down there. So I sucked it up and drank some bs and ended up liking it in a can.

Still it's meh.
