Gaming in the REAL Korea!

Yeah so this summer I planned to go to Korea to brush up my Tekken and Starcraft skills.  Somehow I made a mistake and ended up north of the border.  Of course, since the DPRK is paradise on earth I had no problem satisfying my gaming addiction!

I ended upon two arcades, one in a bowling alley and another in a lounge.  There's apparently an arcade with tons of games in one of the amusement parks, but we went to the brand new park (which was actually pretty damn decent) and they didn't have an arcade.  Either way I don't think anyone's ever shown these places before so you guys get the exclusive before I contact HG101.

They really love racing games there.

At the lounge sadly none of the games were turned on, which is a shame since the machines were far more interesting.





The DPRK apparently updates their machines far more often than the rest of the world, since I've never seen an Outrun 2012 machine anywhere else.



No idea what this was.







Kim Jong Un is supposed to be a fan of the NBA, so no surprise here.







Indeed, thanks to the infinite wisdom of president Kim Ill Sung and Dear Leader Kim Jong Ill the people will always be entertained!

I desperately wanted to buy a "Samsung Saturn" while in South Korea as a memento of sorts. Finally found one abandonded under a dusty pile of cables and accessories at a store, but the douche bag said it was for "display only."
