Yeah, from what I hear, he won't be the Doctor too long after the 50th Anniversary Ep.  He'll have been in more episodes than Tennant though, which was a surprise to me.

Also, Bloodwake told me last night that the reason Gillan left the show was because of the naked hotel running scandal.  Has anyone else heard this?

I doubt that was the reason.  That happened a good year-ish before season 6 started filming.  Amy leaving is a Moffat writing choice and only that.

And let's be real: Gillan's little adventure that night probably doesn't seem too out of ordinary from Billie Piper mishaps.
