SMT3 came out Feb 20, 2003.

SMT4 is ___ 2013.

It's been a long wait, but outside of some anime crap this looks and sounds like the real deal. Fuck yeah.

My only worry about the voice acting is if it means they're going to voice all the story demons. Lucifer with generic anime old man voice will be so wrong. Same with demons/angels like Metatron and stuff. But then if they didn't voice them, dialogue scenes between voiced characters and non-voiced demons going back and forth would be weird. I kind of hope they give you an option to just turn off the voices if you want a more old-school SMT experience. This is one game I would rather play with no voice acting.

While I don't particularly care for the 3DS, my issue here is more specifically with it's region locking. Persona 4 arena still doesn't have a PAL release date, Strange Journey never even came out in PAL regions.

It's not shocked outrage (on my part at least) moreso just continued disappointment.

Altho, with this and Fire Emblem we're getting dangerously close to me actually wanting a 3ds. Fortunately the engrish version will take a year or whatever to come out, so I'll have plenty of time to come to terms with this eventual horror.

They're demons, maybe they speak their own language and people who capture them can understand them via the computer?

Persona is more popular than SMT. It's sad, but true, despite being the main series.

Yeah, in SMT you have to juggle new demons on the regular. Persona allows me more time to grow attached. I also liked Persona 2's recruitment system more than SMT's. I wish P3/4 had negotiation of some form, though. But since you don't fight demons you can recruit, that's impossible. I really liked SMT: SJ's flow of pace in regards to demon collection but later on in my alignment route it got pretty nuts. Fucking hell.
