So, you can get The New Yorker digital edition for free if you have a subscription #. If yer not taking advantage of that, can I steal yer # for my iPad ELITE news?

Have New Yorker cartoons been dumbed down?  As a kid I would see a large number of them as being opaque in meaning but now the ones I see on my Facebook feed are often obvious and stupid.
