Fish fries are pretty universal among black and white people here. My ideas of what black people ate vs what white people ate completely changed when I went down south to visit family as a teen. My cousins all had white friends who acted and sounded exactly like them, and ate all the same stuff. My southern black family even put gravy on their biscuits, something I thought only white people did :'(

Me and Nisha are just going to relax, spend time together, and mellow out before we have to start grinding again next week. She has a full school schedule and works random hours on top of that. I work 8:30am through 5pm Mon - Fri, then classes after work Tues, Weds, Thurs, and then band practice after class on Tues, and Thurs... We're pretty damn busy...

On that note, hanging out with my daughter and chilling with my gf this past week has been pretty rad to me.

Enjoy the weekend bores, it's grind time till Xmas.

We took off Friday for our anniversary, so 4 day weekend

Friday - baby slept for 8 hours straight, woke up to eat and then back down for another 3 hours. GLORIOUS! Then we made French toast and eggs - eggs were free range and antibiotic free from a friend's farm, holy hell delish. Then we went into a sex-induced coma. Somehow we went to the mall after we recovered and had a good time! Did a ton of clothes/shoes shopping, bought some hippie handmade massage bars and lip gloss (both amazing), but most importantly we made the baby a monkey at Build-a-Bear! It's so cute and has a crazy Mohawk like her! We got it a Jedi outfit

It was fun

Today - dinner at the Japanese steakhouse tonight, and just little errands today. Breakfast again too.

Sunday and Monday - nada, so far but all this "Oprah-approved" business reminds me we've never been to Sweetie Pie's. Might try to talk the hubs into going Sunday, and if he agrees, STL Bore is welcome to join us

Played DnD for 6 hours, then joined another set of friends for Malaysian food and then a couple hours of chatting at a Peets as the sun set. What a fantastic day.

Wine tasting tomorrow, with some kind of sausage lunch.

Monday in Santa Cruz to catch up with a friend I've not seen in a month.
