And just when Hearthfire was going to release.

Please post impressions about Hearthfire once it comes back up. It sounds like the perfect thing for my summoner specialized in smithing and enchanting.

First priority will be a house where there are plenty of containers right next to enchanting, smithing and alchemy tables.  Not sure who designed the current Skyrim houses, but they obviously enjoy lugging shit around.

I got the house in Markarth which is pretty decent, but I still have to run across town to reach the blacksmith. I also like the thought of being able to craft other things.

I still use Whiterun because of its proximity to the fast travel point and lots of containers - main downside is obviously no enchanting table.  I was setting up Markarth as a place to show my cool collectibles and was thinking of moving everything there, but now we'll see what Hearthfire is like.

If nothing else, I'll be building lots of useless stuff.

Hopefully it will last long enough for me to reach skill level 100 in smithing and enchanting. I quit playing after I crafted this totally awesome ebony armor set.
