At least at HPB, it would only cost $90.72.

It's my favorite- I want to spend lunch dicking around instead of eating- location

They've been in WA for years. There's one about 3/4 of a mile from my house.

I miss Half Price Books. As far as I know there are none in my area of Florida.  :'(

There's no HPB in Maryland or DC.  :(

But there's a similar chain in northern Maryland called Wonder Book & Video.  I stop by almost every time I'm there visiting family and pick up a couple volumes for a few dollars.  If I don't start reading these things and selling them back, my bookshelves are gonna look like theirs.

Do they sell records like HPB?

They do, but I doubt they have anything good (because they'd only pay next to nothing to buy them) or that they can vouch for their condition.  But I don't mess with records, personally, so I've never looked through them.

I actually bought a record player after browsing HPB. I'm not an audiophile, I mainly buy albums for the sweet cover art.

HPB I go to has a locked case with 'the good stuff' - look for something like that next time you're there if you want something unique.

Half Price Books is awesome. I found a used copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga and some various Japanese SD Gundam G Generation PS2 games at the one by my place (helps with University of Washington right down the street). They've currently got a used copy of Tales of Xillia for $35. I'd buy it if the localized version wasn't announced.

while that Herb Alpert album IS awesome and has a GOD TIER cover, it sold 6 million copies in the US and is not too rare or hard to find in good condition

still, great taste, etc.

I know, they've got at least 10 copies. Still, I think it's a great find if only because it's the only legit record store near me.

There's a used vinyl shop nearby called Creme Tangerine that riffed on the Alpert cover for their fliers:
