Didn't recognize one actor from the first film.

I can see Paul Ryan watching this movie and nodding to himself the whole time.

I could see obama watching it and randomly shouting "you didn't build that" at the screen.

At least my quip was something likely to be true.

I dont understand. Obama already told everyone in america they didn't build it, it's not like I'm even exaggerating.

I think the Galt speech could actually be pretty cool if it were dramatized like an End of Evangelion psychedelic thing.

I was expecting Ray Wise, in that trailer, to announce a world wide "shrim" bath.

pretty obvious his point was not about businesses, but roads and bridges references in the previous sentence

Isn't Dagny Taggart an heiress?  She didn't build that.

Yeah but on of the major plot points is when they build a new bridge using reardon steal. Obama would be cheering at all the union workers trying to destroy the bridge while shouting "you didn't build that".

I'm confused about which insipid point you're trying to make FoC, Is Obama yelling at the screen because he's a socialist or because he's a black ???

Oh yeah, doesn't Rand make her hero capitalists into supergenius inventors too?

Doesn't that suggest that Rand felt, on some level, that a defense of ownership qua ownership was untenable?  So instead she tilted the scales by implicitly giving capital-holders the credit for a product of labor, in this case R&D.

A more practical guide to the relationship between owners and researchers:

Think about your own posts on this very forum, citizen. Sure they are brilliant, but what would they accomplish without the ability to broadcast them to the millions of Boreans, given to you by the forum itself? Without the infrastructure provided by our glorious administrator Demi, you are nothing.
