I hope blood trail ova gets a better release someday- bluray/dvds exist but they seem difficult/expensive to get a hold of

It's the kind of anime that sucks you into becoming a fan, that being said when you *do* become a fan you still have to wade through mountains of shit anime to find things of Black Lagoons quality

Cowboy Bebop is actually GOOD though. I fuckin hated Ninja Scroll- I think its one of those shows that was probably only good for its shock value- which is only good within the era that the material is shocking.

HER NAME IS KOKO SHE IS LOCO I SAY "OH NO"

I have some BD-rips of the entire Black Lagoon series, but they're in 576P.  I still have yet to watch beyond the first few eps so if that set is cheap enough, I may pick it up.  But I guess it won't have the OVAs?

don't think so- OVAs are S3, that set is S1 & 2. fuckin anime getting hard to buy over in the US again- glad I hate 90% of anime (cept slayers, even season 4 of slayers - the worst season - was sweet sweet nectar)

I saw that movie in a theater the first time I visited the glorious empire of Nippon.  It's OK.

Ninja Scroll was popular for a reason- it was filled with action n' gore and had good pacing and oh who gives a fuck why are we even talking about either of these?   :lol

Never could get into this show. The female character annoyed me so much. But people seem to like it and I enjoy John Woo movies so this seems like it should be up my ally. I guess now would be the perfect time to give it a 2nd chance.

I'm not that big into animes, but I did REALLY like Cowboy Bebop, so if this is like that, I will look into it. If it isn't too expensive.

She evolves as she interacts more with Rokuro, you'd probably like her after the scene where she tells rock why she is like she is.

I got season one on DVD for cheap ages ago but never saw season two since it's been out of print in the US for a while. Excite for this.

this thing:

i don't really buy movies anymore, so i'll probably be a bit pickier and not get them all this time

Hollywood Gothic is good but if you've seen his Dracula DVD documentaries you have the broad strokes.  See if you can get The Monster Show on the cheap by the same guy.  My local library has both, so maybe you'll also be lucky in that regard.
