Maddox was also an inspiration for some of my web design principles, believe it or not.

One thing I will always love Maddox for is introducing me to vi/vim.

After Maddox put out that book it seems like most of his articles were just promoting it and there was barely any new content on the site, after that I kind of wrote him off as a sellout and stopped checking his site.  His Youtube venture was also really, really awful.

Still, I enjoyed this posting.  He's definitely right about this whole "hurr I'm such a nerd" shit that's big these days.

Radio Lab does a good job of exposing people to science, but it's on NPR, so there are a lot of people who will never listen to it due to that reason.
