Old guys do like their strategy games, so this actually kinda makes sense. I knew several professors that played Age of Empires back in college.

I only read the books and play the videogame adaptations- never got into the tabletop stuff; that's a whole different area

Is it bad I buy LOTR tabletop sets from Game Workshop but I only paint them and put them together? I've never tried to learn how to play.
