In case you bozos have any questions about what you should be using, Ceylon cinnamon's Latin name is cinnamomum verum, or "true cinnamon."

already ahead of you on this one. I only use the cheap shit for making candles and heavy scented oils. Real cinnamon is not cheap by any means, but it is worth the price of admission. I made some horchata with some vanilla bean pods and real cinnamon. OMG it was fantastic!

omg I had this shit at a family reunion years ago, on a pumpkin pie. One had the regular whipped cream topping, the other hand a bunch of Saigon as topping. Some people were saying it tasted "exotic." Just a couple bites convinced me it was some ol' bullshit that ruined a perfectly good pie
