3DS price dropping to $139.99; $199.99 Mario Kart bundle for XL

The 3DS XL Blue with Mario Kart 7 bundle will be on sale next week.The bundle will be $199.99

The regular 3ds will be getting an official price drop to $139.99 about 2 weeks from now.

Apparently there is some Target ad($129 3DS) for next week.

they'll do those $199 vita black friday bundles as a regular thing soon, i think

system + 4GB card + download voucher for some game (like Resistance or Unit 13 or whatever) + 30 days free PS +, advertise it as "7 free games, $___ value!"

not that it'll help, but that's what I expect them to do

I was going to buy 2 of them for Christmas presents anyway, so this is cool.  I could do without Mario Kart though but then again it's not for me so whatever.

And I went out for lunch today and ran across a Vita Call of Duty bundle going for $149.99 and picked it up.  No idea why I bought one other than the price but at least I get all the free Vita games with PS+ now.   I can play my PSone games on this, right?

I own a dozen 3DS games.  I think its worth owning at this point.  Mario Kart 7 is also the best in the series.  I don't think you can go wrong here.

This moves the 3DS to the territory where even people who game on iPads can buy one for those Nintendo games missing on the Appstore.

Very clever move by Nintendo but who else knows market as well as they? Nobody.
